The clubhouse TV board
TV mode turns any screen with a web browser into a live board for your event. It cycles through the leaderboard, pairings, contests and sponsors on its own.
Put it on the screen
Public and link-only events need no sign-in on the TV. A private event's board opens only for you while signed in, so it won't show on a shared screen. In the phone app, Results, then TV mode, opens the same page.
- Publish your event. TV mode only opens for published events.
- On the event page, tap Results, then TV mode. It opens in a new tab.
- Open that web address on the computer or device connected to the TV, and switch the browser to full screen.
What it shows
The header shows the event name, course and time, marked Live, or Final once you finalize. Slides change every 15 seconds:
Leaderboard: the top 15, plus how many more are on the full leaderboard. With several flights, each takes a turn every 8 seconds.
Tee times, or Shotgun starts: up to 16 groups.
Skills Contests: closest to the pin, longest drive and longest putt, with winners once recorded.
Tournament partners: your sponsors, Title sponsors largest.
Empty slides are skipped, and a brand-new event shows Tournament loading.
Gross and net
The TV leaderboard uses the scoring you chose in the builder's Scoring step, Net or Gross. When the event has a set format, the slide names it at the top right, for example Stroke Play (Net). If you ticked Show both gross and net leaderboards, the Gross and Net switch is on the event's Leaderboard page; the TV stays on your main board. Team events show a Gross column, plus Net on a net event.
How it refreshes
The board reloads every 30 seconds, so you can leave it running all day. Scores saved in the app, on a group link or on Enter scores appear at the next refresh, along with new pairings, contest winners and sponsors.
Sponsors and your brand
Add sponsors from Money, then Sponsors, with Add sponsor. Pick a tier: Title, Presenting, Supporting or Hole. Higher tiers show larger.
For your own look, tap the gear on the event page and find TV & embed branding. Add a Brand name, Logo and Accent color (optional), then tap Save. With nothing set, the TV uses your club's brand if you have one. Without branding, the header reads The Perch and shows the event's banner image.
TV mode is free on every plan; adding sponsors and putting your own branding on the TV need Plus.
Your first event on The Perch is free.
