Under Our Wing is The Perch's program for nonprofits. If your organization is a 501(c)(3), every golf event you host on The Perch runs on our Pro tools for free, at any field size, not just the first one. In return, The Perch is listed as your technology sponsor. Golfers pay one price, and you get one number at the end.

It never takes a sponsor slot you could sell, and it isn't sold to anyone. Your sponsors keep their logos, their tiers and their recap.

How it works
Four steps, about ten minutes.
Create your event
Sign up and choose Organization as your account type, with your organization's name, so your events are filed under it. Then build the event, or describe it to Albie and he sets it up. Free account, no card.
Claim it free
On the event's page, claim your first event free. That event is on Plus right away, so you can start building.
Add your 501(c)(3)
On your organization page, enter your legal name and EIN and attest your status. That turns on donor receipts and lets us know to look.
We approve it
We look your EIN up on the IRS list and approve your organization within one business day. From then on every event you file under it runs at Pro, this one included.

What's the catch?
The Perch is listed as your technology sponsor, and Perch is paid by the $2 each golfer pays at registration, already in the price they see. You never get a bill from us.
Do we give up a sponsor slot?
No. The technology sponsor credit sits beside your sponsors, never in place of one, and it isn't sold to anyone.
Do donations cost anything?
Perch takes no fee on donations, at checkout or on your fundraiser page. Card processing (2.9% + 30¢) applies to a donation paid by card, as it does anywhere. Sponsorships and auction wins carry Perch's standard fee.
How do you know we're a 501(c)(3)?
You attest it on your organization page with your legal name and EIN. Before we turn the program on, we look your EIN up on the IRS list of tax-exempt organizations.
How fast does it turn on?
Your first event is on Plus the moment you claim it. Within one business day of your attestation, we approve your organization, and that event and every one after it run at Pro.
I already signed up as an individual.
Switch your account to an organization in Settings, with your organization's name. Events you build from then on are filed under it and covered. Events you built before the switch can be covered one by one: email hello@perchgolf.com.
Is it per event, or for our organization?
For your organization. We approve it once, and every event you file under it runs at Pro for as long as you hold 501(c)(3) status. An event run outside your organization can be covered on its own: email hello@perchgolf.com.
Is there a limit on field size?
No. An event under our wing runs at Pro, so it takes a field of any size: 144 for a two-tee shotgun, or more.

Does our committee need accounts?
Only the people who run the event. Add co-hosts so the committee can check golfers in and enter scores. Golfers who sign themselves up need a free account; guests a host adds don't.
