Pairings and cart signs

Tee times or a shotgun

Groups go off one after another or all at once on different holes. For a shotgun, tick Shotgun start next to First tee when you build the event. The Pairings page shows Shotgun start or Sequential tee times under the course name.

Build the groups

To arrange groups by hand, tap + Add empty pairing and add players to it. Anyone not yet placed is listed under Unassigned. Edit on a group changes its Group label, start and Notes, such as cart numbers. On a multi-round event, pick the round at the top first.

1. On your event page, tap Play, then Pairings.
2. Under Auto-generate pairings, choose a Strategy: By flight (default), Balanced by estimated handicap, Random, or By team (keeps teammates together).
3. Choose a Group size of 2, 3 or 4, then tap Generate. Tick Replace existing to clear this round's groups and start over.

Set each group's start

Tee times: pick the First tee time and an Interval, then tap Auto-assign tee times. If some groups already have times, you can overwrite them or fill only the blanks.

Shotgun: tap Auto-assign holes 1–18. Group 1 starts on hole 1, group 2 on hole 2, and so on. With more groups than holes, two groups share a hole, shown as 7A and 7B. A round planned as nine holes uses holes 1–9.

When groups are final, Notify players sends each golfer with an account an in-app notice. Guests are not notified.

Print cart signs

Each sign shows the event and date, the group, its starting hole or tee time, the players in large type, and a QR code that opens the group's scoring page, with no app or account needed.

1. Tap Play, then Print Sheets, then Cart signs.
2. On a multi-round event, choose the round at the top. Each code scores that round.
3. Tap Print. Cut each page of two signs on the line and clip one to each cart.

Tee sheets and check-in lists

Print Sheets also has the Tee sheet for the starter (each group, its start, and its players with cart and EST. HCP) and the Check-in sheet. Type cart numbers into the Cart box on each Roster row so they print.
