Included in the price golfers see, or absorbed by you. Never more than 5%, so a $40 entry pays $2. The same fee applies to card sponsorships and auction wins.

On donations

Perch takes nothing from donations, pots or prize money. Refund a golfer and our fee goes back with it.

After your free event, outings up to 120 golfers stay free when they pay by card through Perch, and cash or free outings stay free up to 40. For bigger cash fields, Perch Golf Plus is $139 for a month with no annual commitment, and the first 30 days are free with a card on file. Questions hosts ask.

Do my golfers need to download an app?

No. Golfers register and pay from your sign-up page in any phone or computer browser, Android included, with a free Perch account. Golfers you add to the roster yourself, or that a teammate signs up with their group, don't need an account. On the day, send each group a scoring link that anyone in the group can open without an account, or type scores in from paper cards. Anyone can follow the leaderboard and the clubhouse TV board without signing in. How live scoring works

How do entry fees reach us?

Connect your Stripe account once. Golfers pay by card when they register, and each payment goes to your Stripe account minus Stripe's processing fee and the Perch registration fee (unless you choose to absorb that fee). Stripe pays out to your bank on its normal schedule. Collecting cash or checks instead? Set the event to cash, mark golfers paid on the roster, and Perch charges nothing. The payments guide

What happens after the free event?

Nothing bills, because there was never a card. Your free event keeps its Plus features and its results for good. After that you are on the Free plan, with no time limit: outings up to 120 golfers when they register by card through Perch, or up to 40 for cash or free outings, with sign-ups, card payments, check-in and live scoring. For auto pairings, printables, sponsors and cash fields up to 120, Perch Golf Plus is $139 month to month or $111 a month billed annually. The first 30 days are free with a card on file, and you can cancel any time.
