Final results and printing

Set prizes before you close out

On your event, open Money, then Prizes. Under Cash payouts, pick the Pool (Overall or Per flight) and how places are paid (% of pot or Fixed $), then tap Save payouts. Trophies and gift cards go under Awards (non-cash). For skills contests on the same page, tap Record winner after the round.

The Perch works out and records payouts. It does not send prize money; you hand out the prizes.

Finalize results

On the phone app, Finalize results opens the event on the web to confirm. To fix a scoring error later, open the gear (Setup & settings) and tap Un-finalize in the Danger zone, fix the scores, then finalize again. Result emails already sent are not recalled.

1. On the event page, tap the Status pill in the Event Details strip. Once scores are in, the Right now card also shows a Finalize results button.
2. Choose Finalize results.
3. Read the confirmation. It names any card no marker attested, any unfinished card (listed as DNF), anyone with no card (listed as a no-show), and the pot collected against what the field owes.
4. Tap Finalize. The event moves to Completed.

What golfers see

Each player with a Perch account gets an in-app notice with their finish and any payout, and a results email with their place, score, winnings, contest winners and a link to rate the day.

The leaderboard now reads Final results, with a Share results button. Anyone who tapped Email me the results on your public event page gets one results email.

Results follow your guests into the app

On individual events, each guest you rostered without a Perch account gets their result by email with a Claim your scorecard button, if they have an email on file and Email guests their results is on. That switch is on People, then Roster, and it starts on.

When a guest creates a free account from that email, their round and result move onto the new account, and the leaderboard greets them with Scorecard claimed.

Print the paperwork

The Alpha list, Flight sheet, Bag tags, Score strips and Est. HCP report print on every plan.

1. Open Play, then Print Sheets.
2. Pick a sheet. The Contest sheet is a sign-up sheet before the round and, once you record winners, lists each contest's hole, prize and winner. On Plus, the Results sheet prints the final standings by flight for the awards table.
3. Tap Print. Your browser's print window can also save it as a PDF.
