A flat $4 a player. Not a percentage.
GolfStatus takes a fee on every transaction that runs through its event sites and passes it to your golfers most of the time. Perch charges $4 per paid registration, capped at 5% of the entry, and nothing at all on events that don't collect through us. Team packages, extras, sponsor tiers, invoicing, discount codes and live scoring are included, not sold per event.
What GolfStatus costs
No subscription and no per-user fee. The money comes from the transactions and from per-event add-ons.
Assessed on every transaction processed on a GolfStatus event site. The rate is not published; it appears at checkout. GolfStatus says golfers and sponsors cover it nearly 90% of the time. Card processing is charged on top.

What Perch costs
One number on every tier, and Pro clubs stop paying it after $1,200 a year. Upgrading buys tools, field size and staff seats.
Included in the price golfers see. You set the golfer fee and keep everything above $4, so the fee becomes your line, not ours. A $25 league night is capped at $1.25. Donations are fee-exempt.
Cash events and free events cost nothing. Ever.
Cash fields to 120; card-paid events up to 120 golfers run free on any plan. Team packages with per-seat forms, extras with inventory, sponsor tiers with playing spots, invoicing, discount codes, live scoring, tee sheets. The public sign-up page with card payment is free on every plan. $139/mo month to month.
Everything in Plus with uncapped fields, ten staff seats, member CRM, season archives and club insights, and no Perch fees after $1,200 a year. White-label available. $249/mo month to month.

GolfStatus figures use the range third parties report for its unpublished fee; the true number is shown at checkout. Perch's fee is the flat $4.00 per paid registration or 5% of the entry, whichever is lower, included in the price golfers see. Neither column includes card processing. A 72-player field paid by card through Perch runs free on any plan, so this event needs no subscription; Perch Golf Plus ($111 a month on an annual plan) adds packages, extras and the rest of the operations layer if you want them.
